Born to Salvation Army officers, Rebekah's love for the hurting began to develop at a very young age. By the time she was 13, she was teaching Sunday School, leading worship, and acting and directing dramatic presentations in the church and around the state of Florida.
The children who she worked with were often from broken, impoverished, and drug-filled homes. Today, Rebekah's devotion to the restoration of hope in the lives of the hurting has deepened into the focus of her ministry.
Rebekah's own story is that of survival and hope through Jesus Christ. She is a survivor of abuse, cancer, and panick attacks. Through the grace of God, she has been set free and brought out of the darkness of fear into the light of a loving God. She has brought this message of hope to churches and other venues from Florida to Texas, Michigan to Mexico. In 2005, Rebekah released her first album, Somewhere, through PBC Records.
Her highly anticipated second album, Not Alone, was released in mid-December. Rebekah continues to work closely with The Salvation Army and the Assemblies of God, as well as other churches and organizations to bring hope through music to the hearts of those who are lost, forgotten, defeated, and abandoned.
